About Us
Martinson College was established to be an integral part of the industry’s current crusade to enhance the standards of the Central Services and Sterile Processing Departments (CS/SPD) in healthcare facilities worldwide, especially in the United States. Our mission is to educate community about the importance of proper sterilization, decontamination and reprocessing of reusable medical devices. Since we started the Sterile Processing Technician programs, we have experienced increased demand for our graduates who successfully meet and pass international certification standards. Many of our graduates work in the Central Services or Sterile Processing Department (SPD) in well-established, reputable healthcare institutions considered to be leaders in the healthcare industry such as Providence Hospitals, UCLA Medical Center, HOAG Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Children Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and other healthcare facilities throughout the US. Martinson College’s successful SPD education program has since contributed to the higher standards now being attained by the CS/SPD departments in many renowned hospitals and healthcare facilities.

It is our mission to raise the standard of healthcare by encouraging facilities to protect the public and their staff by only hiring individuals with the proper skills and training to perform these highly critical tasks. Our aim is to become the leader in providing skilled and highly proficient technicians through proper education, skills training and certification. We strongly believe that Certified Sterile Processing Technicians are critical and vital to quality patient care and provide a much higher level of protection from infection for people who visit or work in a healthcare environment.

We are very excited to announce our three-pronged expansion. First, utilizing online instruction or eLearning, making education more accessible anytime and anywhere. Second, is our physical expansion by establishing training locations throughout the United States and worldwide. And thirdly, to develop and offer innovated programs such as our FusionPlus+ program that combines both classroom and online learning for those who requires more time flexibility. We are also offering and developing more programs and courses to constantly add or enhance your credentials and skills such as our Endoscopy Technician and SPD Management programs.
