Why Sterile Processing?
As a sterile processing technician, you provide a vital role in the entire function of the healthcare facility. Your function is critical to the safety of both the patient and the hospital staff alike. You provide indirect patient care by decontaminating, sterilizing, packaging, and distributing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment to the operating rooms or surgical theater.
